By making donations to the Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (EVFT), in the case where the immediate families of the employees deceased, the condolence cards were sent and in the case where they had serious surgical operations, diseases or accidents, get well soon cards were sent.
With respect to the employees who have children, receiving of education in better equipped and better conditions by the children in the primary school age were supported by sending from the EVFT the gift boxes which comprise the toys and greeting cards.
In the last month of 2019, the traditional new year kermis was organized. The opportunities with regard to making donations to the 1Paw1Love, Smile Raising Store, Turkish Handicapped Persons Foundation, Darüşşafaka Society, Mother Child Education Foundation (MCEF), Laughter Heals Association and the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (FCL) were provided to the employees while they purchase gifts for their loved ones.
By virtue of the “AgeSA” scholarship foundation which was established by the Turkish Education Foundation, the continuance of the education of the female students were ensured. Donation was made to the AgeSA Turkish Education Foundation Fund for the total number of employees who participated in the survey subsequent to the Voice of Aviva Survey.
The classes and the exterior walls of the school of the kids receiving education in the Antalya Beycik Primary School with limited facilities were painted by the volunteer employees of AgeSA.
AgeSA Theatre Club performed two shows in Istanbul by its new play “Small Cakes with Syrup”. All income of the first show was donated to Butterfly Children Association and relevant support was provided with regard to the purchasing of medicines which were required for the treatment of the children who fight against the butterfly children disease. Meanwhile, all income of the second show of the Theatre Club was donated to the MCEF and relevant support was provided to the children, mothers, fathers and young women in need accordingly.
In the Istanbul Marathon, 32 persons among the AgeSA employees raised donations by running on behalf of the Foundation for the Support of Women's Work in order to support the strengthening of the women against poverty and 41 persons among the AgeSA employees raised donations with respect to education by running for the Darüşşafaka Society.
The clothing, stationery, toy and educational toy material requirements of four schools and 280 students which were situated in Ağrı, Şırnak, Antalya and Kocaeli and that were in need were covered by the employees.
